I'm a few clowns short of a circus, and unfortunately I've disillusioned myself into thinking I can write. Godspeed.

Did you miss me?

No, I thought not.

Just a few quick updates for you, anyway:

- 4 months without nicotine is the reason I've been slacking and not keeping this up to date. It hasn't been a terribly difficult ride, but it's definitely had it's moments (where I want to brutally murder everyone) and I've had a tough time sitting down to write something thought-provoking/witty/angsty when I'm so accustomed to a blog entry being accompanied by several cigarettes.

It's getting better. Most of the time I just want to hurt people now, not murder them.

- I've moved home for a little bit. To those people who read my blog thinking malicious thoughts about me and who are now hoping that some deadbeat knocked me up and I'm home to give birth to the illegitimate child which my parents will then raise in secrecy -- you are shit out of luck.

I am still not pregnant.

I did however get dumped (I hate to disappoint, really) and I came home, not to lick my wounds, but to save some money to go to Europe this summer since it's something I always wanted to do, and now have the opportunity to do. So there. Bitches.

- My ex is still a great man (pay up, Roberts), and I'm sure I'll still talk about him incessantly since habits are hard to break (see first update) and he's still a part of my life. He's just a stick in the mud, that's all. (I do kind of dislike him periodically though -- he's not perfect)

- We had a bear problem at work. It's solved now, though, and as much as I'd like to be kind to my friends who are avid bear lovers (I didn't realize how many of you there were) and tell you that Winnie has traipsed back into the 100 Ackre Woods in search of some hunny and Rabbit, it's simply not so.

Winnie is currently at the taxidermist's so that he can adorn someone's wall on the Kelly Lake Reserve. That's life in the Boonies.

- I chopped off my hair and donated it to BC’s Hair Donation program to make wigs for kids suffering from hair loss due to chemotherapy or alopecia.

In case you’re so inclined to follow suit:

- I still didn't win a Pulitzer. Damn.
