Things I Learned Today:
- The Bond girl in Casino Royale, Vesper Lynd, is an intentional pun on West Berlin -- her loyalties are split down the middle. I feel a little ashamed that I missed that Double Entendre.
- What does it require to be knighted? Famous Knights include Anthony Hopkins, Mick Jagger, Roger Moore, Ben Kingsley, Tom Jones, Michael Caine and Sean Connery. Well, and Elton John, but I knew that.
- The relatively mild weather as of late is bound to change (this is Alberta after all...) very shortly. Meteorologists are calling for the worst winter storm since 1989 to hit before the end of this week in the Edmonton area. Bundle up!
Call me a dork, but learning new things makes me happy!

I'd believe the storm thing. We got a lot of snow in Vancouver today, and not just a huge amount, but different kinds like wet snow, and the stuff that looks like styrofoam.

But vancouver just shuts down when there's snow! It's all fine that I can walk to school in the snow, but my prof was stuck in traffic for a couple hours and didn't show up.
